The Friends' of Our Lady and St Patrick's
'The Friends' is an association that all Parents / Guardians are members of while their child is at school. In addition membership is open to friends of the School. Such friends are deemed as parents of children who have left the school, relatives of children or of the staff of the School, past pupils of the school and others with genuine interest in the well being of the school.'
The Friends' is a fundraising body who raise money for many items in school. 'The Friends' organise a Christmas Arts and Crafts days, as well events as the Annual Summer BBQ and other family evenings plus raffles and family Bingo and Quiz Nights.
The Friends have a committee which co-ordinates the fund raising activities and is supported by a large group of helpers for their fundraising and social events. The current Friends committee is as follows:
Meetings are held once a term and all parents are welcome.
There is always something for parents to do to help, from making a cake to buying it. All help is gratefully received, and they especially welcome new Mums and Dads.
The Annual General Meeting is held in October each year at which new committee members are welcome.The Constitution and Rules of the Association are available from the School Office.
